We begin with an initial consultation to discuss your needs and review the many options available for conservation or design work. Turn around time varies with each project.
All work is done by Lisa Isley, not studio technicians. Everything is crafted to your exact specifications and can be tailored to your needs. Traditional hand bookbinding methods are labour intensive and cannot be compared to machine made products with low cost materials. You will end up with a well crafted original item, made with higher quality materials, by hand using traditional techniques that took years to master. It is not possible to offer a price list due to the nature of custom work.
